The Family Shop

A Taste Of Greece

We're a small family Greek bakery on Camden Mews, and we do one honest thing: bake the pies and sweets we grew up with, chalk them on the window, and pull a proper coffee while you wait.

The window's chalked by hand every morning — Greek Pies and Greek Sweets up top, the freddo and macchiato list beside it. Inside, the case fills with spanakopita, tyropita and bougatsa straight from the oven, and the sweet shelf with melomakarona and kourabiedes under their drift of icing sugar.

We call ourselves Greek Pastries, Made By Hand, Eaten On The Road — our own words, and the only bragging we'll do. The rest we leave to the case and the customers: a steady 5.0 from 101 reviews.

Out the back there's a small patio with the sage bistro chairs and a tangle of roses — a quiet spot for a freddo when the front pavement's full.

The Window Hand

The same little chalk doodles we draw on the glass do the signposting across the site — a cup, a pie, a sugared crescent, an olive sprig.
